From records to revenue
Monetise company data: what buyers take and how you start
Updated
11 of the 11 on our board say in their own words what they buy or take in, and 10 show a company how to get in.
What they say they buy or take
- aitrainer.work: nothing itself; it stores a description of what you own, such as "private repos", or "a short company profile and nothing else", and the buyer reviews, prices and pays you.
- Troveo: "your company's email, chat, CRM, tickets, and files", turned into recurring revenue; it says buyers pay a premium for work they can follow across channels, knowledge, code and tools.
- Mercor: the data your business generates every day, which it calls exactly what frontier labs need.
- SimpleClosure Asset Hub: the proprietary software your team built, including codebases, repositories, documentation and testing.
- OpenAI: large-scale datasets that reflect human society and are not already easily accessible online to the public.
How a company gets in
10 of the 11 publish a form, quote or listing flow. Maryah asks you to tell it about your company and the systems you use; Troveo gives an estimate in minutes, with a standard agreement ready when you are; micro1 reviews a referred company and guides it through an initial AI interview. licensemydata.com ends its page in an enquiry form and OpenAI's carries a 'Submit interest' button; the other 1, Protege, gives a contact address only.
